Cochrane Overview

In the late 1800s, the Cochrane area was on the edge of Canada’s new frontier. The ‘last best west’, as it came to be known, began with a grazing lease issued to the Cochrane Ranche Company Ltd. Some 129 years later, Cochrane is once again on the brink of a new frontier – as Calgary’s most desirable, accessible and charming satellite community.
