Your design journey
A guided experience from your first studio visit to final approvals, designed to make every decision feel clear, inspired, and personal.
Step 1
Approx. 3 hrs
1st Selection Appointment
Your design journey begins with a review of your home plans and cabinetry design. During the first half of the appointment, we'll walk through your floor plan, confirm your cabinetry selections, and discuss any custom millwork options, such as feature wall paneling, built-in storage, or walk-in closet organization.
The second half of the meeting focuses on your home's finishing details, including plumbing fixtures (sinks and faucets), shower glass, baseboards and casings, interior door styles, door hardware, and railings.
Step 2
Approx. 3 hrs
2nd Selection Appointment
This is where your home's interior style comes together. You'll create your personalized interior palette by selecting flooring (hardwood, LVP, or laminate), carpet, tile, countertops, cabinetry finishes, and other key design elements.
If you'd like our design team to prepare a curated palette before your appointment, our team will ask you to send your inspiration images at least three days before your first design meeting.
Behind the Scenes
After your selections are complete, our team gets to work bringing your vision to life. We'll thoughtfully combine your design choices into a cohesive plan, prepare updated cabinetry and millwork drawings, finalize pricing, and assemble your selections package so everything is ready for your review appointment.
Step 3
Approx. 2 hrs
Review Appointment
One to two business days before your review appointment, you'll receive a preliminary selections package that includes your design selections, pricing, change orders, and updated cabinetry and millwork drawings.
During the meeting, we'll review everything together and make any final revisions before your selections are finalized.
Step 4
Sign-off Deadline
After your review appointment and any final revisions, you'll receive your finalized selections package through DocuSign for electronic approval, completing your design selections before we move into the next stage of construction.
