Homes started as a family business and it still is – we’re all part of one big family. Founded on quality and trust, we’ve always made sure to extend those
values to the wider community, making sure we give back to those in need.
We’ve been busy, that’s for sure, but it’s always worth taking time to reflect on
the past. Please join us as we look back and see where we’ve been. It’s a great
way to know where we’re heading next.

Founded by Family. Where it all started became the name: Calbridge, a portmanteau of
Calgary and Bridgeland. Nestled in that classic neighbourhood by
the Bow River, Joe Ferraro and his father Raimondo Ferraro formed
Calbridge Homes in June, 1978. As Calgary grew, so did Calbridge,
expanding from Bridgeland across Calgary. Along the way Calbridge
picked up multiple awards for homes made with quality and care.
Today, the legacy continues.

We’re a family business, making homes for other families. You can see our passion for craftsmanship in the high-quality homes we’ve built since 1978. Though proud of our work, we always remember the power of being humble. Our home building process is collaborative. We include our customers and all who work with us, to achieve the best result for everyone.

In Our Communities

Built by a family who immigrated to Canada, we always remember where we came from and where we are. Over the years we’ve made sure to continuously strengthen our communities, participating in a long list of initiatives. That includes $500K to the Calgary Health Trust neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). Plus, $1.5M to the Triveri House, a place that homeless and vulnerable youth can call home. Our employees are more than willing to pitch in, whether it’s donating funds, continuous support of our local food banks, or building homes for people who need them.

Creating Places to Live and Love

It all started in Bridgeland and Millrise and now we’ve built entire communities that have shaped what Calgary is today. When we look around the city, we see over 45 years of time and effort that’s been totally and completely worth it. We’re proud of what we’ve accomplished and beyond pleased that so many people have chosen to live their lives in a Calbridge home. Our beautiful province has provided endless inspiration for each community. We can’t get enough of the rivers, trees, grasslands, lakes and mountain views – it’s worth basing a whole community around. No matter which landscape is your favourite, we make sure it’s the focal point for every homeowner to enjoy.
